About
Private guitar instructor of 25 years and filmmaker, combining music and film into compelling story telling... Riding on the coattails of John Carpenter and Robert Rodriguez all the while being inspired by their cunning use of little or nothing to create worlds brimming with imagination and creativity.
Using parks, the woods, free lancers, actors working just for credit, and mostly my own post production tools and skills, I try to tell stories with mood, character and morality, all the while aspiring to catch a sense of auteur filmmaking used by my heroes.
Both Carpenter and Rodriguez have also used their music skills to enhance and color their work, I too use my musical background to put the final touches on my stories and ideas.
These days I'm working on stories created by whatever strange mood has just struck me. Whether it's from watching one of my favorite films, having an odd dream, or seeing something mysterious in "the way a back alley looks at dusk."
